Well, quite possibly you are. Indeed you may be a very good one. Or — and I suspect this is more likely — you tell yourself you’re reasonably talented, but deep down you’re not too sure…
Either that, or you are not as ‘good’ as you’d like to be.
Perhaps you don’t know whether what you’re trying to write is the thing you should be writing, or if you have the talent to carry it off; perhaps you’re feeling disheartened by years of competition and Agent rejections and the underlying implications of such messages. Or maybe you’re simply struggling to finish ‘your novel’. Or even put pen to paper at all.
And what does a ‘Writer’ look like, anyway?”
